“Life will never be the same.” – Anthony Robbins

“Ultimately, I want to help individuals be more productive by utilizing their natural talents and gifts. Once they are able to do this, they will be able to live a fulfilled life that not only fills them with joy but will impact everyone around them.”

-Vimari Roman

Hi, I am Vimari!

My purpose and mission are to utilize my God-given gifts, be the best version of myself while inspiring others to be the best version of themselves. I help YOU become the best version of yourself by living a balanced life filled with joy and purpose. By WORKING WITH ME your life will be transformed.

I was born in Miami, Florida to Puerto Rican parents. My father worked in the Hospitality Industry, and as a child, we moved around quite a bit. I lived in Puerto Rico for the first ten years of my life, then moved back and fourths from Miami to Pennsylvania and New York. I often joke that I attended twelve different schools, in twelve years, and attribute that experience, along with my career in Hospitality to strengthening my natural gifts of connecting quickly with others and being able to adapt to their individualities.

I am a natural born leader and have always been very independent, self-confident, and goal oriented. These are qualities my parents remember seeing from the time that I was a young child to later when I started my career in Hospitality at a very young age in New York City.

I moved back to Miami in 1999 and currently live in the Village of El Portal with my husband Nariman, and Shadow our Chocolate Labrador. I moved to El Portal in 2004 and love that I finally live somewhere long enough to call it home. ♥

Before becoming an entrepreneur I enjoyed a very successful career in Hospitality for over twenty years. I’d like to say that I am innovative and for many years I was highly respected in the Hospitality and Meetings Industry due to my diverse background as a leader and my experience in sales, strategic planning, process optimization, strategic account management, and organizational development.

The road to my Coaching career started in 2012 when my life took a complete shift and I was forced out of my comfort zone. Within less than a year, I lost my job, ended an eight-year marriage and became an entrepreneur starting my first company.

The job ending initially was of a relief for me because for the first time in my career I was at a place where my values did not align with the culture of the organization. I was very happy to part ways but after a couple of weeks when I found myself for the first time in my career without a job and not having the motivation to put myself back in the market, I became a bit insecure and began to doubt myself. Thankfully, those limiting beliefs and self-doubt did not last very long when I was given the opportunity to work with someone who was referred to me by a longtime client. Without hesitation, I took that opportunity and decided to give the road to entrepreneurship a try. In 2013, I earned my Certificate in Meeting Management (CMM) and founded Be Productive Meetings & Events as an independent meeting planner.

Shortly after going on my own, I attended Tony Robbin’s “Unleash the Power Within” and it was then when I recognized that although I loved having my meeting planning business, there was something missing. After some soul searching, research and hiring a Coach, in early 2014 I became a certified Strategic & Intervention Leadership Coach.

As a manager and leader, I always had a passion for training, mentoring and coaching individuals which is what I believe brought me so much success in the corporate world. My ability to identify individuals “strengths” is what helped me lead some of the best teams in the hospitality industry.

Today, I have the blessing of coaching individuals from various backgrounds, with many unique goals. I believe that my own personal experience, and desire to become the best version of myself is what has helped me make a difference in the lives of many. I believe that we all have a purpose and that through our journey we can eventually identify what that purpose is so that we can live a life filled with meaning and joy.

Service is big in my life and in addition to serving my clients through my coaching practice, I have also been involved in my community within different associations and Boards, and on November 2016 I was elected by the residents of the Village of El Portal to serve on the Village Council. In addition to my career and volunteer work, I believe that we should have somewhat of a life balance. Family and friendships are my core and very important to me, and this is how I spend much of my “off” time. I am a lover of the arts, music, and food. I also enjoy strenuous workouts such as Cross-Fit and Orange Theory, as well as a little yoga, reading and on Sunday morning’s my husband and I are lectors at St. Martha’s Catholic Church.

My motto is to push myself every day to do something that helps me become a better version of myself, and I believe that by doing that I can also inspire others to become a better version of themselves.

Be Productive Coaching

What makes for a great coach? It’s the ability to lead, to make things happen, to maximize resources and inspire others. It’s the ability to solve problems and to help individuals understand what they can achieve. And it’s the skill and the natural gift to influence and guide others to make real breakthroughs and create lasting change.

Great coaches see things as they are, not worse than they are. They have a firm grasp on reality and are honest with themselves about where they stand. They are able, to be honest with you and offer a different perspective. They do not dwell on problems and are not afraid to face them head-on. They do not allow fear and doubt to overcome them. They have the proper skills and knowledge to assess situations and find the best way to move forward.

Great coaches have a vision. Their vision allows them to see the best in every situation and they share that vision with others. They understand that alone one can accomplish only so much and that they need others to be successful. They are hands-on and are not afraid to roll up their sleeves to make things happen. It goes beyond giving direction, a great coach will define the future and show you how you can attain it.

Great coaches are also strategic. Strategy is an art. Great coaches realize that transforming a vision into reality cannot be rushed. Strategy requires a plan, it may require change and It’s not always about the resources readily available, it’s knowing when to be creative, when to reach out to others, being able to think outside of the box, and see the bigger picture. It also requires patience, wisdom, and faith.
