Measurable Progress for Individuals and Teams
Measurable progress motivates ongoing practice. This includes mental muscle buildup, and how charged up the Sage (positive) region of the brain is prior to important meetings or decisions. Progress is reflected in the PQ Score which is the measure of mental fitness, including percentile ranking relative to others.

Ready to elevate your organization’s EQ?
How is PQ different from EQ?
Positive Intelligence represents a breakthrough in your ability to raise Emotional Intelligence (EQ) across your organization. The main challenges until now have been the existence of too many EQ competencies (18) and that initial improvements quickly fade over time. Positive Intelligence dramatically simplifies this challenge due to factor analysis research that identified the root-level building blocks of EQ. 17 out of 18 EQ competencies are automatically developed through a combination of intercepting the negative Saboteurs and activating Self-Command and the 5 positive Sage Powers. The resulting EQ improvements are sustained because we focus on building habit-forming mental muscles, not just insights.98% of our program participants experience EQ growth.
How does PQ shift an individual’s mindset?
PQ shifts individuals from a negative mindset to positive (Growth) mindset. The unique differentiator of the PQ program is that it focuses on building and sustaining mental fitness skills, which increases the individual’s wellbeing, performance, engagement, and productivity and decreases stress.
What is the major difference between PQ and other personal and professional development trainings?
Lasting, positive change requires 20% insight and 80% mental muscle. Most training programs provide insight only, and as such, change is not sustainable. Application of learnings wanes over time as people return to old habits that are soft coded in their brain. The PQ program focuses on building muscle, not just insight, and thus creates a new operating system in your brain that allows for sustainable personal and professional development.
What research is PQ based on?
Positive Intelligence is based on research in Positive Psychology, Neuroscience, Cognitive Psychology, and Performance Science. Ongoing research for Positive Intelligence involves over 500,000 participants in 50 countries, including CEOs, Stanford students and elite athletes, and sales, operations, and technology teams. Multiple studies demonstrate that individuals with higher Positive Intelligence Quotient (PQ) outsell and perform those with lower PQ by 37%.
How will my team benefit from the program?
The PQ Program builds resilience, optimism, and empathy in teams — not through theory or insight, but by building mental muscle that increases performance, overall team happiness, and feelings of general well-being. Even though the focus of the program is individual development, team leaders often call this experience the best team-building experience they have ever had. Going through this program together significantly deepens trust, helps clear the air related to recurrent team member conflicts since they’re mostly generated by Saboteurs, and gives the entire team a common framework for helping each other grow, making decisions, responding to setbacks, and managing conflicting styles and agendas.
What if we want to add 1:1 coaching for our team?
1:1 coaching can be provided upon request and pricing is based on the length of the engagement and the size of the team. Please inquire during your consultation.
How will my team be able to measure their individual progress?
The individuals will feel motivated through instant feedback via the mobile app on exactly how much progress they are making towards building the 3 core muscles of mental fitness. We also have a PQ (Positive Intelligence Quotient, or Positivity Quotient for short) Score assessment that measures the relative strength of your positive versus negative mental muscles. Each team member can take the PQ Score assessment at the beginning of the program to discover how often their mind is serving them versus sabotaging them and then take it again at the end of the program to measure the difference. Lastly, brain rewiring may be visible in MRI imaging within 8 weeks.
